I'm mad as hell and not going to take it anymore!!!

First off, let me set this rant off right!

I am sick and tired of watching America getting bashed in the news, online and by every wanna be "retro hippie" who missed out on the 60's.
Hey. this is the great old U.S. of A. and this is my "opinion", and I respect the fact that people have the right to say what ever they want, whenever they want, and about whatever they want.

That’s what makes America so great. I may not agree with you, but I definitely respect your rights to say them. Unlike some two bit Neo-Fascist countries where you bet your life with your political, social, religious, and what ever the hell else the "government" decides, views.

I really do not care what kind of religion you belong to. Whether you are a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Etc.... I hate all of you in turn!
I hate the Palestinians for the suicide bombers who kill indiscriminately.
I hate the Jewish who kill ten for every one and refuse to relinquish Land...."Land", a piece of fucking dirt.
I hate the Catholics and Protestants in Ireland who will not let kids be kids and kill their brethrens all in the name of "Freedom".
I hate the Skinheads, the Neo-Nazis, and the intolerant bigots that will not let a man be a man because of his race or color.
I hate the African/American organizations that preach hatred for past oppressions. (This PC business sucks rocks, I care not for your background, you are an American, not a /American!)
I hate the IRA for allowing atrocities to happen.
I hate the British for allowing the same atrocities to happen.
I hate the African Governments that are a parasite amongst their people.
"Lets Kill in the name of God!" , or Allah, or Vishnu, or whatever the hell you may call it. Yeah thats an intelligent thing to do, like one monkey killing another over a banana.
I hate the People of Earth that allow this shit to continue year after year!
I am sick to death of countries, organizations, terrorist factions, and religious organizations that, year after year, call upon America for help, then turn around and shit all over us.
If it was up to me I would pull the USA back into its own borders to deal with our own problems and issues, and let the rest of you rot in the hell of your own making!

America, by definition, is a group of people tired of being told what to do. America is not perfect, but it must be a hell of a lot better than what else is offered in this world, or at least that is according to the latest immigration statistics.

I hate America for trying to be the police of the world, and allowing the world to treat us like second class citizens.

Ahhhh, but there is the rub!
Why do you hate so much, and yet sit here and rant and rave about the things you dislike and not try to change it???? Good question.
I put out to the citizens of the Earth, not just the United States of America, to stand up and say, "I am mad as hell, and I am not going to take it anymore!"

Jesus H. Christ people, how can you allow yourselves to be slaughtered, and deceived, and abused, when you outnumber your "governments", "Leaders", "Dictators" and "Oppressors" a thousand to one?
Stand up and be counted as a citizen of the Earth, not a piece of property upon it, and take control of your own destinies.

Yeah, it's fine but I think it would have gone better in the current gun thread.

I agree with you on many points, disagree on some.
This is a forum for all to share, expose and spread ideas, thoughts, feelings, sentiments, and desires.

But all I hear is a man on a soapbox, yelling at the wind.

Wild post.

If I was in any way offended as a non US national, a European and Irish citizen born and raised in Scotland, I might retaliate by saying .......

I really am upset by the willing recklessness of the USA in their enviromental policies. They care only for themselves and not for the other world citizens who are adversely affected by global warming and climate change.

I am really upset by the underhand political manouvering which the US goverment is undetaking to protect their middle east oil sources, in the name of peace.

I am really upset by the arrogance of the US goverments who cherry pick weak states in the name of international terrorism but refuse to apply their own principles to larger states who have their own attrocities but also have a developed nuclear programmme which rules out US intervention.

...but I wont!

Take it easy, have a bud, put on Hotel california and chill out.

So much of that bashing on environmental grounds is really jealousy. "I cannot have it so neither should you". As the United States continues to prop up the world financially we, its citizens, are given more latitude in our use of resources. When someone from another country comes up with an idea so that they can support themselves then they can reasonably ask us to be more responsible.

The only reason the US "props up the world financially" is because we don't produce anything. We're a nation of consumeristic people. By consumeristic I mean that not only are we consumers we actively promote consumerism. "Clothes make the man" "The car makes the man". I don't wanna go Tyler Durden on you, but what do kids aspire to be? Rockstars movie stars. We chase those cars and clothes and keep ourselves ignorant of the world around us.

I too agree with a lot of what Justin Sane had to say. It also gets me when someone says "Calm down man" or "Chill out". Its the wrong time to chill out and stay calm.

this is exactly the time to chill out and stay calm. how can you expect to convince anyone of anything if you cant put together a lucid, well-reasoned argument? maybe we interpret the words differently (but, please, lets not go down that road), but i think its important at all times to keep an objective view of a situation to be able to deal with it.

thats why i disdain the type of rant that started this thread. maybe there are valid points there, but its written in the style of "denis leary without the sense of humour", angry and loud. who wants to hear it?

Consumerism is a pretty complicated topic, if we want a high rate of employment, we can't be afraid to consume. What I hate is when people buy without considering usefulness or value. My Mother-in-law continues to fill my daughters' room with crap, trying to buy what she already has, their love and affection. I consume but within the context of lifestyle and values, my most recent purchase was a new road bike which has value being important to my health/fitness etc... btw My older daughter wants to be an artist and my younger a nurse. We try to think about our consuming at Griffs House

That's right. World's largest gross domestic product, yet we don't produce a thing. How could that be? Simple enough: Arthur Andersen does our books. BWAHAHAHAHA
