Oh man, Steam is addictive. They run good sales on a regular basis, and sell lots of small-time games for under $5.... both the stepkids have their own Steam accounts so Mr. Clod could keep their stuff separate from all the little games he buys.

Zippy, do you find that your skills in real combat transfer over to games like these? does your military training and experience help?
Or is it a whole new ball game - like UT describing professional musicians struggling with Guitar Hero becaue it had been simplified for the mass market?

My zombie apocalypse survival strategy depends on your answer!

yeah... i NEVER see it coming. the one time I saw zippy before he saw me, he still waxed me. i just stink at it. I think I might be better with a controller. I'll have to look into getting an xbox style controller for my laptop.

he was bitching about the keyboard the whole time he played. I just ordered an xbox ctrlr for pc. I'll hook up my lap top to the big tv with hdmi, and hopefully my headset for the regular xbox controllers will work with the new one... then we'll see about poking a few holes in you, sir.

No no they say keyboard+mouse remains a better controller than xbox-style controllers, in first-person shooty games.

You just have to get used to the game and get used to using the mouse that way.

goddammit somebody gift me the game so I can shoost some holes in you guys
