This position is called the "firefly".

You know, I could fill the IotD with porn, and I could fill it with shocking and disgusting and tasteless photos, and I could fill it with all kinds of things. But there are a lot of websites for that already. What I do try to add is something interesting, one click beyond just the degenerate stuff. It ought to be things that make you go "hmmm" as the old Arsenio show and C song used to say.

But once in a while I do favor the bizarre and unusual and porn-like, because there's nothing wrong with that. I'm human after all.

But this? This is not porn, it's not tasteless, it's YOGA. Very serious stuff.

My wife goes to yoga classes, and I asked her if she'd ever done the "firefly", and she hadn't even heard of it. Oh well, there's another fantasy thrown to the wind.

hmmmm wow, wish my gf was that flexible lol, (wouldn't any guy) after all creativity is the key... but damn, that would require some serious spinal flexability, probably takes years to be able ot ATTEMPT to do that safely.

Funny, but just last week I saw an incredibly tasteless (and funny) yoga skit on Saturday Night Live. In it a man, after much hard work, is able to achieve his personal yoga goal. I refuse to elaborate.

It's funny that many Eastern activities (Yoga, Tai Chi) are often held up to ridicule. Personally, I figure if it makes you happy, go for it. Of course, this does not mean that people should engage in despicable activities like murder, rape, arson, and mime.

You know, I remember as a little kid when "Lillias, Yoga, & You" used to be on PBS early in the morning. I used to think it strange...but nowadays, she'd be a pioneer.

Smile Eat your heart out, Denise Austin.

Not that I wouldn't mind seeing DA do this move.
