I am blessed to have a wide selection of mead available at the Class VI store. I have a bottle of Bea's Sweet Mead that I planning to open this weekend

My dad makes a really good mead from the honey his bees produce from the mango crop.
I don't know how he does it though. I just drink it.

Sundae Girl, that "Gyrth" is someone I once knew slightly -- he has since passed on. That's a recipe offered for the edification of the brew-meisters of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
Know This Old Castle Welle Gyrth Oldcastle (I never knew his mundane name was Gerald O'Leary) was, to put it gently, rotund -- his physique had been explicitly likened to a sweet potato. Liked his vittles, he did. If he liked that mead, you probably will too.

Cool, thanks UG!
At least he is living on in his recipes.
