I can't even GO to facebook because hearing my extended family and their Rah Rah Romney crap makes me sad...and they're women, to boot...I just don't go.

Facebook has become just one more way for me to feel inadequate! Updates like "here's the latest picture of my solid gold baby!" and "I have been elected the smartest person who ever lived and I'm as beautiful as Cleopatra" and "I worked for 672 hours on my lawn and it's being featured in 5 Star Gardens...they're calling it the next Hanging Gardens of Babylon" etc and so on.

It all just makes me so very tired.

I know gloating is a sin, and can come back to bite in a sensitive place,
but last night over beers, two sinners had their way with a famous cartoon...

My sense of humor/sarcasm/ridicule is returning after resolution of our government shutdown.

I previously posted a link to how Senators and Representatives voted on any given Bill.
Today I found it also links to their legislative history, and a correlation of "leadership" and "ideology".

Now for my humor/sarcasm ...
The lowest outlier below is the Senator from Arizona:

If I were going into politics, I think I would change my name.

from an audience member on Question Time:

Quote:
A banker, a Daily Mail reader and a single mum are given a pack of 12 digestive biscuits. The banker takes eleven and says to the Daily Mail reader "You wanna watch out for 'Her', she's trying to steal your biscuit".

Except the single mum is a recent divorcee, reads the Daily Mail too and posts on Mumsnet, so her only concern is about the nationality of the young lady who brought the biscuits in, and whether she was flirting with the banker

House Committee Demands Obama Commit
An Impeachable Offense
(WASHINGTON D.C.)---As time rapidly runs out on the two-term presidency of Barack Obama, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform will hold hearings today to grill administration officials about the lack of exploitable scandals originating in the White House, sources say.
