I know, but we don't do it. We do mostly commercial litigation and business law.

Nada. No party and no bonuses this year either. Last year, I got the equivalent of 2 paychecks as a bonus and we had a formal Christmas party.

Guess that's what I get for being in the real estate industry, huh?

I got a gray fleece vest ... I guess that due to the economic downturn they couldn't afford sleeves on our shirts this year.

I also assume that the economic downturn is responsible for there only being one wreath on the porch this year. Usually they are hung to the left and right of the double doors. It looks lopsided.

We had a pay-your-own group lunch at a local place; my husband's company had the traditional company party. He also got a bonus (they did very well this last year.)
Since I started working for my organization in September, I have gotten a #2 pencil. That's it.

I take it all back Looooook!!!1!11!!1!

a UPS van just pulled up outside and I joked to the family that someone must've sent me surprise pressies.... and then the doorbell rang and they had!

A tower of fruit and other goodies from a scrip customer (scrip is the fundraiser I do for the school -we're currently 33% up on last year)

It's so pretty! I'm not opening the boxes until tomorrow, though.
