Orville is finding its feet. I think they will find nice balance between workplace comedy and social commentary space adventure but it will not be easy. I like the cast.

A mom I work with is watching The Good Doctor with her son. It is actually helping her understand the little dude better.

I saw half an episode of Orville and was impressed. But it's on at some weird time, and my wife seemed uninterested. I haven't come across it since.

Airplane! meets Star Trek.

I liked the episodes I've seen.

There's no such thing as good tv.

Star Trek Discovery.

For much of the two part opener, I wasn't sure - I liked aspects of it, but it didn't seem like the ship and crew would have legs - then the second half of the second episode totally turned that around and then I saw the 'coming up ' trailer for the rest of season 1 - holy shit, so much awesome.

The first two eps set the scene and give us the backstory for the main character - it then goes in a direction I really hadn't seen coming.
