Brilliant!

And when I say "netgas", I really mean "natgas", natural gas.

Sorta figured. This gas boom needs to be taken advantage of by locals. Well played.

Zip: The 5th Law of the Universe is that you can not make only one trip to either the hardware- or auto-parts store.
(H-stores often require 3 or 4 trips)

IRS just accepted my efiled 990 tax return! Due yesterday except yesterday was a Sunday. 4:20pm, the closest i've ever cut it!

YEEEE-HAH! I was worried I might have to print it and run out to the post office.....

Now, what shall i procrastinate over next? I know, cleaning the house for my birthday party! That's next on the list, the house has 10 years of crap build up and I have 5 days -plenty of time!

Today is "Welcome Walk" day, when your teacher for the upcoming school year visits your house. Minifob is going to be so happy to see her.

Holy cow, the teacher has to go to every kid's house in one day?

Nobody's bussed, Bruce, so it's all within a 1/2-mile radius of the school. 20 kids in a class, a few minutes at each house, plus a bit for traveling minus a few kids who aren't home... it ends up being a 2-hour block of time.

The cul-de-sac down my street has so many kids in every house that they just throw a little block party outside so they don't have to keep answering the door.

That is a really cool idea. It wouldn't work here, but it sounds like a great thing.

At least he doesn't have to bring a gift and come in through the chimney.
