I'm impressed with the aquarium shot. It's always so dark in those places that you have to have a long shutter speed, and without a tripod and with the moving fish, there's too much motion blur. I end up going to an aquarium and taking a hundred pictures and not one of them is one I would be proud of.

Yes the leaves are very nice.

Did nobody vote for the dog with the stick because you can't see his cute eyes? He wetter than the other one.

He lost cuteness points by being a productive dog and actually working. He isn't lookin at the camera either - yeh demerits on both counts.

I try to not know who does what pics so I am not biased. Sometimes I can tell, but my personal feelings don't sway my picture pick either way.

I always vote for dogs in my heart, though.

To me, the overall feeling I get when I look at the picture of the dog with the stick isn't "wet," it's more like excitement, jumping, playfulness. But the non-stick dog immediately makes me think "Not in my fucking house!" To make the stick-dog evoke "wetness" more, I'd zoom in on the water trail coming off his leg (assuming it was in focus enough to crop that closely.)

I didn't vote for either of them, incidentally, that's just my two cents on the dog matter.

Thanks glatt, it was hard to get that shot, most of the ones I took sucked. Thick glass tanks, horrible lighting... I grumbled about them a lot.
