Cool, but the commute is a little far for me.

I think the first hospital discussed in the article, Danvers, was where they made the move Session 9.

I think Danvers especially is a beautiful building (or several), and I'm thrilled to see it will be restored instead of knocked down to make room for more McMansions. I hope they manage to keep some of its character intact when they condo it all up inside. Reminds me of Sharpless Works in West Chester.... I'd live there.

Is Sharpless Works the one that used to be an elementary school? I think I remember when they were starting to develop that, back in the 80s.

Here's one a couple hours from me - not sure if it's in the list that was initially given. Couldn't find an official site for it though.

well, that was pretty dumb of me, the official site was listed at the bottom of the page - here it is: www.waverlyhillstbsanatorium.com

Hmm, I don't like the idea of it becoming a tourist attraction - though tours of it are pretty cool. I think it should keep it's 'haunted' feel while giving the tours.. Selling merchandise? please...

It was a big, very cool looking, factory/warehouse thing... Sharpless Cream Separator Works back in the 1800's, but I don't know what it was before it was renovated.
