You can't compare a physical, unpleasant, reality with a fiction (or, you 'can'...you just can't expect any one to participate in the comparison).

Sorry. I've been away for a while and didn't realize I was being cliched. Then again, if lots of people said the same thing, maybe there's something to it?

Besides, I never said I was sane. Certainly doesn't require whiskey to make me crazy. Wine will do, too.

Jun, JBK is an admitted schizophrenic. I didn't think stop to think you might not know that.

Sorry, I'm a little protective of him, don't know why...I just think he can be fun to read, he's a wholly different human being. And so many who are aware still say the 'take your meds' thing and I find that in very poor taste.

Now, if you say 'take your meds' to me, knowing I'm not mentally ill...that's OK. Wait, my premise is wrong there.

Funny, that's sort of what made me stay away from the cellar for so long last time - talking about mental illness, specifically depression, 'cause apparently my variety wasn't serious enough to let me join the club. I struggle with it daily and I'm not really in a great place these days, but I keep chuggin' along, and putting my foot in my mouth on a regular basis.

Shutting up now.

It;s not a big deal I find it more of an excuse than a problem... when I do or say something stupid I just blame mental illness and everyone nice-ns up... but recently I have been drinking whiskey just about 2 shots a week and I find it nerve calming...
