Michael Jackson trial begins

Much more info at <a href="http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/010605jackson.html">The Smoking Gun</a>

The dude is flat-out bonkers. My take:

He had a weird and perverted childhood which made him a weird and perverted man. I don't approve but I understand.

Understanding is good, important even, but that doesn't have to turn into approval. I'm not accusing you of said confusion, but a lot of people out there do make that mistake. Just ask Mr. Garrison.

I understand MJ is a tree jumping pervert and I would approve very much if his latest facial reconstruction was a large caliber bullet hole in the middle of his forehead.

It astonishes me that anyone could still possibly think Michael is innocent.

It still astonishes me that anyone could still possibly think the same about OJ.

The lack of doubt about Robert Blake is kind of refreshing, but he is a white guy, who really needs to figure out how Shatner got away with it ...

They're easy to spot. Just look for people with their fingers in their ears going nah nah nah nah.

404,
Not that I ever doubted you, but "tree jumping" lets me know you really are a retired prison guard. But who would make that up? I've only ever heard that term once before and it was from an ex con. (not a tree jumper himself, just a regular old friendly B&E-er. Ha.

One of the side effects of working in a prison is you tend to absorb some of the jargon and bad habits.

I still prefer to cut my food up with a plastic spoon too.

You know, there's one thing I haven't figured out yet:are any cameras going to be allowed inside the courtroom?
