Nearly every one of my posts would qualify for that thread! Like loneliness and cheeseburgers:

Merlin is an Australian Shepherd, but he's jumping through the snow so he looks short legged. Better watch yerself cat, he's fast.

It's getting pretty nasty out there. I just stepped out to take this picture of the back yard, thermometer says about 8 degrees, the wind is picking up and well, you can see what the snow is doing.

It has been about 13-15 degrees here all day long, and the wind was blowing at 30 mph until late afternoon.

Its a dry cold, though.

About 11 inches and calm at the moment.
In front of my house is an intersection. One road makes a 130 deg, decreasing radius bend and the other road intersects in the opposite direction from the outlet of the turn. Unless you're going the other way.

Anyway, the intersecting road goes so up a short but deceptively steep hill. Every time they get a new plow driver, he/she will try to plow up the hill and make the turn, at which time the rear wheels slide off into embarrassment. Sometimes they realize they are slipping and stop. Then they back into embarrassment.

3 hours ago I noticed a plow was embarrassed. four other plows had stopped to commiserate. With all those flashing lights they light up the 'hood.
Now there is 2 very large wreckers trying to yank it out.
Hi yo PennDOT.....delay!
I added the spot where the plow was stuck. Backed into the stop sign and buried the rear wheels in the dirt up to the axle. Newbies!

Guess I better shovel before I want to be in cozy warmth watching the Eagle's game ...

There's a car in here somewhere ...

Oh, here it is ...

Made it out There was about a foot of snow to shovel to make a path to the space to the rear of the one I was trapped in, and at least five feet to the front. I'm no dummy. Backed right out. Okay, not right out ... took a couple tries and all the skill I could muster along with the traction control system's help ... Backing uphill was not as easy as it looked.

And parked it illegally.

MomWolf's is just going to have to thaw out.
