Saving Grace

One of my top three favorite shows ever, Saving Grace, is not going to be picked up by TNT after next summer's shows. Citing "financial reasons", and not ratings, we can only hope that another channel will snap up this incredible series.

If you haven't seen it, you can watch a few full episodes of season three on hulu.com. Currently airing on Tuesday nights at 10pm eastern.

Synopsis: OKC detective Grace Hanadarko, played by Holly Hunter is a hard-livin' woman. She drinks, smokes, has promiscuous sex, and is having an affair with her married parter. Although she was raised a Catholic and one of her brothers is a priest, she has lost her faith.

One night, after drinking, Grace gets in her car and is driving home. She hits a man (Bokeem Woodbine), and thinks she has killed him. In her panic, she calls out to God to help her.

"What do you need?" asks a man in jeans, t-shirt and a flannel. This is Earl, a tobacco chewing angel, sent by God to help bring Grace back to Him.
