Really, V? Did you listen to the movie soundtrack or the stage version? The one I played to death was the stage version. It's been decades since I've seen the movie, but I remember there being a significant change in one of the high priests, low voice to high squeeky voice. I remember it really irritating me.

When listening it was the The Original London Cast Recording. I remember the same changes you mention. They grated (some) on me too. But I still like the movie, and I still like the album's music better than the movie's music, but I like them both.

Here it is.... Sent
After watching it, I remembered that the take they used was a rehersal.... why it was taped is still a mystery to me.

Well, Blood Dolls certainly made an impression, although it was so campy that it might have passed beyond bad to become horribly fascinating.

Lets see..

Evil genius inventor with tiny head.
All girl rock group imprisoned in cage where they are given electric shocks.
"Little Person" henchman.
Evil female genius.
Somber sidekick wearing clown makeup who is also a minister.
And of course machine which turns people into 'Blood Dolls'.

not to mention a dual ending to the movie.

But here is a better review.

"I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" had to be the most boring film I've seen this year, I highly recommend not watching it.
