Montgomery County then investigated a complaint of "injury to a child" and referred the case to the district attorney. The DA then handed the case to the grand jury.

Eden Prairie Police Department spokesperson Joyce Lorenz confirms the EPPD assisted Montgomery County, Texas authorities in the investigation. Lorenz says Eden Prairie Police did not arrest Peterson.

"He used the same kind of discipline with his child that he experienced as a child growing up in East Texas," Hardin said in a statement. "Adrian has never hidden from what happened. He has cooperated fully with authorities and voluntarily testified before the grand jury for several hours. Adrian will address the charges with the same respect and responsiveness he has brought to this inquiry from its beginning."

Wonder what he did, and how it got made police business

Beat the shit out of him, I'd guess.

Bugs me that they say "growing up in East Texas." Because you could say 'the same kind of discipline that he experienced as a child,' and people will be like, "I don't care if you were beaten, that doesn't make it okay," but somehow you point out that it was East Texas, and people are supposed to think, "Well, okay, that makes sense, everyone knows beating kids is okay down there. We'd beat our kids too, if we were raised in that hellhole. All is forgiven." They are absolutely mentioning the location as an excuse.

I'll take a W any way I can this year. Looks like you made the right starts, just a bad day.

Good game!
Edit: nevermind... I thought I was talking to Shaw. You blew it, lol.

Ugh...but I temporarily lost faith in Rivers. Bad move. I need to start going with my gut feeling again. The damn guru telling me to start inactive players (even I knew better than that) and the projections aren't projecting very well.

Nice game, jim! Dammit all to hell, nice game!

Unless Tom Brady scores 100+ fantasy points tonight, my losing streak will continue unabated. Go sports team!

Who the hell is Alex Smith, and why are all my hopes for pulling off another win riding on him?

lol - I just looked at the matchup. Didn't realize there was a bye and now its apparently too late to sub in a player ... I could have had Dwayne Bowe WR - KC. Who is he?

You would have needed to sub in a running back for that position. Don't know if it's too late to drop/add.

6 teams bye this week. I don't remember it ever being like this before...has it?

That was a fun one. Good game glatt. Even if I had subbed my RB you still would have won.
