American Jihad
I was in Beijing airport last week (during Chinese National Holidays) en route to Inner Mongolia and came across this friendly character.
If you pressed a button he would break out into a frenzied song and dance. 'Witch Doctor' - you know the song that goes 'Ooh ee ooh ah ah, Ting tang walla walla bing bang.' That one. Perhaps the creepiest doll I have ever seen. |

Dude.... ... please tell me that you bought that thing and it's now sitting in your backpack as a gift to the most random and remote citizen of Inner Mongolia that you can find.....
Present it as "a gift from the people of America". |

What exactly do the Chinese think of Americans, anyway? Is the American view of the Chinese being repressed true, or are the Chinese extremely patriotic?

Are you sure it's American? I see elements of US and of Middle East in this doll, which would indicate that to some places in the world, the other half of the planet is full of a bunch of loonies... loonies with cash.

The twonie is a gread looking coin ... but the Canadian Mint marketing department should have been sacked over the loonie and two-nie branding blunders. |

It's really helpful if they think we are all like that.
