It can't be any worse than Ray Smuckles explanation of scones, in Achewood's animated test footage.

There's another one besides what Onstead links to.

Scenes, voices.

This almost deserves its own thread

I like a good Helen Keller joke as much as the next fellow, but this is almost glurge-worthy. While Helen Keller was truly amazing and inspirational How about some mad props for Anne Sullivan? Who the heck remembers her?

Pretty impressive! I had never seen that footage before.

I have to admit though that I wasn't carefully reading your intro, and expected some hilarious Helen Keller jokes at the link. I kept waiting for the punch line and it wasn't until about a third of the way into the video that I realized it was the real deal.

Wow.

Is it not time to make a movie about Helen Keller? It seems about the only way to get something important into the most people's consciousness.

They made one in the 60s, but I think Jerry Bruckheimer could really give us something more in tune with today's audience.

Also, while looking for the name of the Helen Keller movie ("The Miracle Worker," by the way,) I came across this fascinating trailer:

Squirell Nutkin's Friend's BIL played the infant Helen Keller in that movie.
