Has anyone ever used one of those Japanese toilets that have all sorts of gadgets? I haven't but I'd like to know if it would be worth a try

That could be very nasty if you sit too far forward on the seat

One of the Stephen Starr restaurants in Philly also has bathrooms with the clear wall that mists up when you close the door. I don't know which one though.

Anyone who has been a Boy Scout in the USA and gone to Philmont, the Scout ranch in New Mexico gets used to the latrines in the back country which come with plenty of fresh air and a view!

This in is know as a Pilot to Co-Pilot

I spent 10 days at Philmont, and somehow I think I only used one of those one time. I'm not sure how that worked out. We must have had a lot of base camps with real (ie enclosed) facilities.

Best outhouse view I ever had was in one on a pass in New Zealand. This is the view from sitting on the throne:

They really need to somehow combine this thing with that remote viewing kiosk from a few months ago.

Hello chrisinhouston I find your toilet picture a bit disturbing. What are the holes in the side for? Did you really have to sit on a toilet with a hole in the side that people could poke twigs, branches or whatever through? Has it had any lasting effects? Like the idea that you can hold hands with a friend while using it though!!!!!!

It's to avoid the buildup of dangerous gasses.
