I love clocks and watches, I know they're dieing out now as most everyone has a cellphone to tell the time.

Here's doing soemthing the hard way

etcha sketch clock

I was also directed to this on Vernier clocks, also awesome, I have a great idea for this, whenever I have free project time

The vernier clock and watch are both pretty cool and don't look like they would be that hard to build.

I made a clock, with just an hour hand, out of an old brass boiler pressure gage.
It's very easy to tell the time within 10 minutes, and closer with some practice.

I have this really cool clock that always tells the time one hour in advance. Unfortunately, every March it screws up and does not fix itself again until October.
