Best practices for raising kids

some good food for thoughts for parents here. not written by me, not advocating them, just putting them out for consideration:

one thing I like there is the acknowledgment of negative emotions. It never made sense to me that I was not allowed to be angry. Not allowed to take it out on other people, sure, but not allowed to experience the emotion itself? That just made me . . . angry.
