My car is crying . . .

okay, leaking. An odorless, colorless fluid (aka water, or something water-like) from under the engine.

Is it . . . leaking from the radiator? Not sure what else it might be. It's not overheating or anything.

A small puddle, perhaps half a cup. I saw it leaking, so I don't know if it continue to leak or what.

All air conditioning, including that on cars, produces condensation. In a car this condensation drips down constantly, but you only notice it once in a while.

Well, that sounds benign.

It's not crying. It's sweating!

The air conditioner also runs whenever you you use your defrost, even if it is blowing hot air. This keeps the compressor lubed during the winter.

lubed

I agree - odorless, colorless - the a/c. Anything else would have some color/smell/viscosity to it.

AC was my first thought too. Seems to be a consensus here.

I'd ignore it if it was my car. This time.

Get yourself some newspaper.
Lay it out on the driveway.
Park the car over it.
Let the car sit overnight.
If it is still leaking, it'll show on the paper.
It probably is condensation.
If you're still unsure, take the paper to a REPUTABLE mechanic who can tell you.
The reason I say "REPUTABLE" is that some would claim it's transmission fluid, claiming that you need a whole new transmission.
Or some such other thing.
