For me, CSI is very good and cool and intricate and interesting. I occasionally see CSI:NY, mostly because I really like Gary Sinese.

I honestly don't think the CSI concept was good enough to deserve two spinoffs, but that's probably why I'm not a television executive. Despite liking all flavors of L&O (except Trial by Jury, which I thought was quite unnecessary) I like my television to at least pretend it's original. Although I realize that everything being done today is only a shade of living color different from the settings and situations faced weekly by Matt, Doc and Miss Kitty.

I thought I was the only one in America that thought CSI was bad.

Tonight should be some very good tv . Part one of the Bob Dylan bio put together by Martin Scorsese for the American Masters series on PBS. Part two is tomorrow night.

That's why I like the NCIS on Tuesdays. The CSI shows all have the same formula. Bazare crime, case is solved, the criminal confesses everything without presence of lawyer in room. Miami makes Caine out to be some super-sluth who posesses powers of clairvoyance who can predict the murders next victim or the existance of a bomb in the room. Thursdays Las Vegas is OK except I get tired of that ME always talking and stroking the dead bodies as if they are alive...creepy. And of course Wednesdays NY version...I wont even get into that. That's what we need, another TV show about NY.

I predict that these shows have a limited amount of time left. Couple of seasons they'll start dropping off starting w/ NY. When that happens, it will leave more room for more reality TV shows.

CSI the original doesn't suck... CSI: NY and CSI:Miami are definitely not as good. I think the characters in the orignial CSI are much more likeable and real and better looking. I can usually tolerate CSI:Miami, but heck no to CSI: NY - it's on at the same time as Law & Order and L&O and L&O SVU trump all.

This blog reminds me of my favorite all time show of all time, ever. Favorite.

AIRWOLF!!! I have the theme song stuck in my head now, and I haven't heard it in 20 years.
