More cold stuff.

Ok, I took this pic with my cheap ass, two year old digital camera a couple of weeks ago. It hit seventy yesterday so now I can stand to look at it.
By the by, this pic was taken from about five feet out of my front door. Like I'd go any farther into the cold than that.

Best neighbors in the world. They never get loud, or complain when I do. They rarely have visitors and never at night. The lawn always looks nice. Of course if one of them did knock at my door I'm not likely to answer...

Here's one I took at my university at dusk. I like how everything is a nice dark shade of blue (No, I didn't use any color filters).

Eh. I used to hang out in graveyards at night all the time. Fell asleep in more than one.

They're great places to sit and talk, you know.

I've done that. Of course being this close to this one it's not hard to get home. I take my kids over there sometimes and we read the epitaphs. It's a nice quiet and group introspective. I like making the kids think.

I've avoided the temptation to post a pic of an average back yard here - dead grass, loose dirt.
Ok, maybe the water restrictions aren't that bad yet but with a week or two of 40c it really starts looking like that.

Don't think kids would find a graveyyard depressing, if anything, scary.
