Clipping their nails is something I have to keep on top of. Their nails grow so fast!

My white male Blanki is probably about 3+ years old. My black female Panda is about 3. I don't know their exact ages as I got them at a pound two years ago.

ferret proofing is a HUGE deal. you have to make sure they can't get into furniture, under/behind refridgerators and the like. when my ex and i bought a new wicker sofa/loveseat combo i had to make a frame to set underneath as to prevent them from climbing up into to arms of the set. yeah, they'll come out eventually but it was never when it was time to go to bed. samantha (the one that looks like blankie) would finally come out and wake me up in the middle of the night by attacking my toes!

Most ferrets, if they aren't deaf, will come running to a squeaky toy. I think it sounds like what their mom's warning call might have sounded like. Anyway, it works pretty well usually with no training.

I always use a squeak toy. But with my ferrets, if they are asleep, the world could blow up and they would sleep through it without distraction!
