Out in front of one of the legit food vendors is long stretches of bubble-wrap. By the time we came upon this, at 3am, it was spent.

Somewhere somebody blasts "Total Eclipse of the Heart" - ironically or not, we don't know - and this means everyone within hearing range is suddenly moved to join in.

Re: total eclipse of the heart mass singing...

At confest, things are organic. No PAs or amped up sound systems. But some people like that sort of thing. Hmmm ... AHA! Silent disco. 50 sets of rechargable headphones, a short-range transmitter , a DJ set-up, voila!

Except, except, except that the people at the Silent Disco didn't get the "silent" memo. They sing along. Loudly. Usually badly. Sometimes everyone for a few hundred metres joins in. Bohemian Rhapsody gets them particularly enthusiastic.

That's what I was thinking as I read the account. Very Dead-ish.

UT - I felt like I was there. A+ reporting.
