4) What is the best thing to cover in chocolate?
5) If you had the money to be a space tourist, would you?
6) 9 or 13?

1) Chestnuts or Water Chestnuts? Water chestnuts, but damn few of them, please.

2) What is your worst weather-related memory? When I was about 6 yrs old, my aunt (she would have been about 14-15) and I were walking back from the corner store and got caught by a summer hail storm. She bent over me trying to protect me, but we were both covered in welts. It was only like an eighth of a mile, but we took a pretty good beating.

3) Bats -yes or no? Sure, but not in my circle of personal space, please.

4) What is the best thing to cover in chocolate? The inside of mah belly!!! Srsly, tho, double-dipped peanuts and/or raisins.

5) If you had the money to be a space tourist, would you? No.

6) 9 or 13? Nine. If it weighs nine, ya got a l'il extra, if it weighs thirteen, ya got shorted a l'il bit...

7) What is your favorite sign of Spring? Bunnies fuckin'.

8) Have you ever deliberately eaten a live creature? No.

9) What name has most stood out to you from this week’s news (for any reason)[?] Trump. How could it not be? It's the most-used word in media of any kind.

10) Are we nearly there yet? Only 53 days til Christmas!!!

Invent a Saint. You need a name and what they are patron saint of. You can say why, or not. Please don’t use this fabulous opportunity to bitch about other Dwellars.

1) Chestnuts or Water Chestnuts?

Chestnuts. Water chestnuts are a vegetable, not a nut, and that is fraud.

2) What is your worst weather-related memory?

Hurricane Agnes, 1972 - solid rain for days, storm just hung out over Pennsylvania. Flooded out not only the entire Harrisburg downtown, but everybody's basements out in the suburbs. And then the sewers backed up and, well it was bad times.

3) Bats -yes or no?

Yes, my resident Bat of Prussia still hangs out every year. He has left for the winter. I keep an empty box under where he sleeps, and the bat shit accumulates there so it doesn't annoy the neighbors.

7) What is your favorite sign of Spring?

The annual appearance of the breastesses

10) Are we nearly there yet?

If you ask me again, I'm going to turn this car right around and we'll just go home. Is that what you want?

Invent a Saint

Saint Ohm, the Resistor of Electrons. You pray to him by wearing something non-conductive, like rubber, and using his name as a chanting mantra.

1)Chestnuts or Water Chestnuts?

Water chestnuts!

3)Bats -yes or no?

Yes! We have the largest Mexican Freetail Bat colony in the world!

4)What is the best thing to cover in chocolate?

Crispy rice

5)If you had the money to be a space tourist, would you?

I'd wait for the price to come down. But I'd love to go, in general.

8)Have you ever deliberately eaten a live creature?

Never. We watched a movie once where the protagonist (and the actor, it wasn't faked) ate a live octopus, and I'm still horrified.

9)What name has most stood out to you from this week’s news (for any reason)

I didn't follow any news this week, but my dad bitched about Elizabeth Warren, so I guess her.

10)Are we nearly there yet?

Sweet Jesus I hope so. My feet are killing me.

Invent a Saint. You need a name and what they are patron saint of.

Saint Chattius, patron saint of conversations you have out loud with yourself while driving in your car

1) Chestnuts or Water Chestnuts? No thank you.

2) What is your worst weather-related memory? I was staying near Mono Lake, after visiting Yosemite, when a snowstorm hit the Sierras. Law enforcement closed the roads going N, S, & W. To continue my cross-country motorcycle trip, I had to head E, down into the desert, starting out with riding a 12 inch wide strip, on the crown of the road where it was still clear of snow, for miles. I narrowly avoided getting stranded back in the motel for days.

3) Bats -yes or no? Hard to play baseball without them.

4) What is the best thing to cover in chocolate? Dark chocolate covered marzipan.

5) If you had the money to be a space tourist, would you? Join the 250 mile high club? Sure.

6) 9 or 13? Bakers dozen.

7) What is your favorite sign of Spring? "Now Open."

8) Have you ever deliberately eaten a live creature? No.

9) What name has most stood out to you from this week’s news (for any reason) Katie Hill.

10) Are we nearly there yet? 100 bottles of beer on the wall, one hundred bottles of beer, take one down, pass it around, 99 bottles of beer on the wall...

Optional Long-Answer Question
Invent a Saint. Saint Whosis - patron saint of people whose names we can't recall just this moment.

BTW the saint question was because November 1st is All Saints Day. For those who needed to know. My pottery teacher is interested in the saints -his favorite is St Dymphna, patron saint of the insane.

Inspired by this thread, I asked Alexa who the patron saint of artificial intelligence is. She didn't have an answer; rather, asked if I wanted to open the skill Saint of the Day. I researched the publisher and found this video on their website. Just thought I'd share a laugh:
