11/30/2004: Yale pranks Harvard

Widely covered elsewhere, but if you haven't seen it, hey. Some fine folks at Yale deceived Harvard-ites into creating the above, in their own house, sans-Photoshopping. It's all documented here:

http://www.harvardsucks.org

Well done.

Brilliant. Utterly Brilliant.

Just think. These are the future Dubyas, et al.

Somehow I doubt that.

Dubya and brilliant in the same thought? Nah...

That is indeed a great hoax, but compared to this one:

the Yale/Harvard one is quite simple... the 1961 hoax sets the bar very, very high.

Oh that's beautiful, getting so many people to fall for it at the same time!

What the CalTech hoax has in gradiose and insidious nature (national TV, late-night hotel break-ins), the Yalie caper made up for with sheer balls: They made fake "Harvard Pep Squad" shirts, marched right into enemy territory, and handed out the implements of their prankery with a smile on their faces. Shame on you, you unsuspecting Hah-vahd poofs.

Go some place wearing a tee shirt with "STAFF" or "SECURITY" printed on it and start ordering people around. Most will comply.

Don't go into a liquor store wearing a "STAFF" shirt though. People get irked when you won't tell them where the Michelob Light is. (BTDT too).

In PA, if you know they work there, don't even bother asking. Try one of the other customers.

Don't bother at all. Beer isn't sold in PA liquor stores.
