I've always been a fan of the triple-ha-no-spaces, but that was mostly a reaction to the overuse of LOL a decade ago. I don't have a particular problem with it, but it just reads like a comment. If I actually laugh out loud, I spell it out for 'em.

I used to do that ... but I got used to using lol as it was easier to type one handed whilst also controlling my avatar during a pvp duel :P

What we know of as "pasties" were eaten by Welsh miners, who held them by the thick-crusted edge with their dirty miner's hands, and threw the crust out when they were done. According to my mother-in-law who is obsessed with all things Celtic.
