As far as the days off are concerned, they kind of aren't happening anymore, in fact for the next few weeks they aren't happening at all, due to this.

Three days on (on caffeine), three off (how does the body handle the lack of caffeine then ...or is there no real lack of caffeine?) Is a recipe for a medical disaster down the line. Trust me, I'm a Dr.
Ok, let me get it straight...

You would - as a doctor - recommend for me to continue drinking diet coke and tons of coffee with sweetener, or even continuing with tons of coke energy drinks and coffee with sugar as long as I get more exercise on the side, probably consuming more caffeine overall either way... Rather then me taking caffeine pills?

Why? What is it that is so bad about them that isn't the case for caffeine in other forms?

My intuition here is that I am picking the lesser evil health-wise, if that's not true, I would like to know why.

I drink black coffee for my caffeine but chocolate covered espresso beans are a nice option. I need to cut back...

I just can't drink coffee. I get my pick-me-ups in other, more illegal ways.

I protest! I need my pint of coffee in the morning and that's about it. Maybe a mug of instant mid-afternoon.

I pretty much only drink instant at home these days. The only time I drink fresh coffee is if I buy a drink going through the bus or train station.

I used to drink fresh coffee when I was with J, cause he loves his good coffee. Personally, for every day drinking I prefer instant.

EEEW! Instant Yukky.I'm sorry, but instant ranks right up there with turpentine. You must have different instant coffee than we have.

I used no doze in college (early 80s) washed down with cans of coke for a couple all nighters in finals week. I tended to fall asleep over my typewriter.

Maybe. I had an American friend many years ago who said our fresh coffee was nowhere near as good as you get in America but that our instant is much nicer.

Bigbucks instant is actually a treat when camping. I've been messing around with trying to make the best cup of coffee from cheap ground. I'm blooming the grounds in a press with cold water then adding the hot water. Less acidic but if I used better coffee I think it would be nice.
