Deutschland Uber Alles, eh?
If they played Argentina, weren't they essentially playing themselves, courtesy of ODESSA?

Odessa File
They looked pretty Latino to me. Germans had been in Argentina and Brazil long before WWII, so I don't want to slander all of today's German-Argentines; though I'm sure there still may be a few Nazis there. I still don't understand why Juan Peron was so friendly to those Nazis. Maybe he too belived in "The Final Solution."

The American clubs are dropping like flies. How is the US ever going to sign Klinsmann to coach if he takes his club to the final?
