I'm going to make the attempt for the sake of the woman, the child, her boy, the dwellars, and the glory of Pennsyltucky. This commitment is entirely revocable.

Zero interest in Superbowl

Ugh. It's just the pre- game and we already polished off a big bag of tortilla chips and guacamole and salsa. It was good, but there's so much more to eat.

That was a weird “eat my shorts” manoeuvre back there, wasn’t it? When the guy tried to jump over the other guy and the second guy got a face-full of balls, not the football sort! Eh?

Thunderboy and Beest have it on. Thunderboy is wearing an Eagles hat. Because he has one. Because he's a skyline Eagle and they don't have a hat of their own and he inherited it from his sister. How in the fuck has it been going for two hours and it's they haven't even got to half time yet?

It was a nail-biter, probably the best Superbowl I've watched.

I was putting the trash and recycling out for collection during the end bit. I had to move one of the cars to get the bins down the drive. Which was a bit of a nail-biter because visibility zero due to iced-up snowed-up screen and unwillingness to scrape just for that....

The Mexican restaurant had a surprising number of people at it. I told them they could put me at the bar or a table, whichever was better for them, because I definitely wasn't going to watch the game. A table turned out to be the right choice, because the bar was full of interested fans by the time I left.

That was good. I liked the part where they failed to screw the Eagles on the replays.
