Flash headaches

Does anyone experience these?

I haven't had one for a long time...and I had a CT scan last year to make sure I didn't have a tumah or something.

I just had another one and I forgot how scary they are. I took some paperwork over to my cow orker and as I left her office it felt like something in my head exploded.

I experienced no lights flashing or subsequent "eyegraine" but I felt dizzy for about 30 seconds, almost disoriented.

It's probably a lot like when you stand up too fast and you see the light flashy thing...but jebus AITCH it scared the crap out of me.

If it were an aneurysm I'd be dead by now, right?
