What SHOULD you know
They're are certain things I think every adult should know but don't. For starters CPR, what do you think every person, man or woman should know?

Ugh, that reminds me...the other night, I dreamed that I had to give CPR to a baby, who had drowned in a bathtub.

i had to take first aid in highschool and i thought i had a general understanding of it, but the other day i was working in a conference room where a medic was instructing a bunch of people on how to properly give cpr, i was waaaay the fuck off. and another thing to add to the list:
being able to change a tire, you would be suprised.

What people should need to know coming outta the womb:
How to type on a standard keyboard. How to pull over for sirening vehicles and not be a dick. How to say "thank you" to customer service people. How to tie a tie (men {opinion}). How to communicate bluntly AND mean it (women {opinion}). |

--how to get along with people
--personal finances --how to cook “A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.” Robert Heinlein (or Lazarus Long, if you prefer)

I'll second personal finances. It utterly blows my mind how retarded people can be when it comes to how to handle money. In my house growing up, the "money talk" was a bigger deal than the "sex talk."
