Dystopia or Utopia?

Dystopia or Utopia? That is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The lies and deceit of outrageous conmen
Or to take Arms against sold out politicians
And by opposing end them: defeat complete

No more irrational wee hour tweets; we end
The heart-ache, and most logical disgust
That peeps are heir to. 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be sought. Retreat to sleep,
Perchance to Dream; aye, there's the rub,
Dreams are easy, real actions not so much.

To pry comfortable middle class citizens
From their warm La-Z-Boys during football,
Basketball, baseball, hockey, or Charo.
They would bear the lies and tax scams,
The Oppressor's wrongs, before moving
to right the wrongs of Citizens United and
stem the tide of dirty money. But first must
dismiss the scum called the U.S. Congress
Clean the state and local party of thugs.

But even then, after a return to democracy
The undeniable truth, ~Power Corrupts~.
Utopia just ain’t easy, to get or to retain
But a currently growing Dystopia shows
Your neighbor can not be trusted to fix
Anything not disrupting his personal gain.
Bare your bodkin Bunkie, I tell you true
Dystopia or Utopia it still is up to you.

I approve of this sort of Jacobin reasoning.
