HP Lovecraft
I have been recently thinking of delving into Lovecraft's work, now that I have showered my hard earned bucks on kindle. There's only this little problem that I am not sure where to begin from. I am not aware of Lovecraft's chronology for the weird cosmic horror works (if there's any at all). Searching on amazon and some other sites, it seems that the Cthulhu mythos is loosely connected in the short stories and the other literature of Lovecraft and August Derleth.
There are different compilations of these works that combine together to give the depth and darkness as an output. If we have any reader out there who can hold the lamp on this, that will be really helpful.

As far as I remember, there is little to no order. Even stories that share characters aren't very dependant on each other. I haven't read everything he wrote, so I might have missed something, but in general you should just be able to jump in.

Buy this one.
It seems to have the most content, and it's around $4. Actually, I should take my own advice and get it ... the one I selected when I bought by first Kindle only has 68 stories.
