Excellent movie. Hoffman has done a few really long, but really good movies. Little Big Man is another great one.

Awesome movie. This is one of the few things that Jinx is wrong about.

great movie, but it's hard for me to enjoy a movie when someone in the room isn't.

We ran into the same situation a couple months ago. I had seen it years ago, and wanted to see it again. My wife wasn't so sure. But she really liked it. Long movie, and slow at times, but that's really what makes it so good.

This is bizarre that this came up now, because I was thinking about Papillon just yesterday.

I was having the time of my life in the 70s. I wasn't interested in them then so those faded covers do nothing for me now.

(edit)
* wait a minute- wait a minute....how could I forget! * My high school boyfriend and I watched 'Jaws' in the theater,'Fast Times','Grease','Freddy' films, 'Halloween' and the Star Wars! geez.....well we didn't have tapes way back then ....so my head was there.

Did you finish it?

Did jinx like it?

i couldn't pay attention to it. too many distractions, what with the new kitten, the mojitos, and cellar saturday night chat. I'll take another stab at it.
