Nov 17th, 2017 : Macrophotography
Francesco Bagnato is a talented photographer and illustrator from Milan, Italy.
Using a Canon EOS 6D camera, he has taken an outstanding picture series of beetles. The pictures I've copied here are only 1/5 the size displayed at Behance. There are about 30 pictures, each 20 x 30 inches. With those bright shiny skins, how do they not get eaten? Yeah, I know bright colors are often a warning to predators of poison or bad taste... or a bluff. But those iridescent colors seem awfully risky just to get laid. I mean we humans wouldn't consider doing risky stuff for sex. Right guys... Bueller... anyone?
