Cool Royal gardens in Beijing

i has gone to beijing the last summer, visited a many of historic sites and taked some pix. all of them impressed me. i think mabey i should share it with all friends in cellar.

the jinshan garden, Very famous, caz a emperor hanged himself in a tree at there after the enemy rushed into the capital.

the alarm tower in the suburb of Beijing, which can be used to alarm.when enemy come the soldier burnd the smoking stuff to sent the alarm siglal to the other tower. so the information can be sent very quickly before these tower

the Qianlong emperor in Qing dynasty built this Buddhism tower to celebrate his mother's 60th' birthday

Excellent pictures, Eric! Thanks for sharing them. I love Chinese architecture, it's so ornate and intricate.

That marble boat is amazing too, does that really float?

hi, Roosta,i am very glad that u like the pix.and 404Error , the marble boat don't float and there is the base part under the water. it's make that just look like floating off but it's not

There is a Winter Palace, I cannot remember where it is in China.
The Summber Palace and other Palace were heavily destroyed by the army allies of Western 8 countries. These palaces are the history mirror for us.

1) Eric is my colleague. I invited him to post here.
2) To be frank, my Mandarin is not so good that many people cannot understand me becasue my I have the heavy hometown accent.
You all help me improve English. Thank you again.

i want to say two things too:
1)thanks, Elspode
2) The billy's English level is so high, But me....i think just can make others understand what i say, maybe sometimes not, so so ..i hope i can get some help to improve my English. any advice?
