You would end up eating eight of these--remember these?--which might actually improve the situation.

I guess the cans would be...portable, but seriously, though, who never heard of a flask? A flask fits in your back pocket.

Like you'd be able to eat a cheeseburger from a flask. Maybe on planet Anteater.

Ok, I feel so much better. I drink way, way too much beer and it doesn't have the effect on me it should, but -if I could stomach whisky at all- I'd be joining the blackout/barf crew in an hour easy peasy. I do about 4 beers an hour top speed. 2-3 is more like normal. That would be overkill in a can.

The can should have a skull and crossbones on it.

Sticking that much whisky in a can that looks like a single serving is asking for alcoholic poisoning casualties.

Absolutely. People with a large body mass and experience with alcohol could handle that, but a slim young bloke could probably kill himself with two, maybe even one. Sure, they could do that with a bottle, but a can is not resealable like a bottle and we are used to finishing a can quickly. A can implies that this is a reasonable amount to drink, in a quick time.

Well, it's not much worse than a half-bottle of the same stuff. I don't like it, but I wouldn't ban it.

Oh, that puts you on par with the anti-contraceptive crowd.

Oh, I thought all whiskey had the 'e.' Never noticed this one didn't. Interesting.

BTW, I did the equivalent with 1/2 pint of Jack Daniels. Chased, of course, with some kind of cheap beer.

It all started with a fight with my mom and ended with me trying to figure out how in the H I was going to get down from my tree limb when the ground wouldn't stand still.

(And then I had to ride on the back of a motorcycle. How DID i survive those days??)

I was in high school then. I learned to choose my drinking spot very carefully after that.

(Still can't remember how I got the booze in the first place. Certainly not mom . . .)

Obviously I have some serious capacity for alcohol because I'm pretty sure I could drink that much vodka (my spirit of choice) in an hour without much trouble at all. Well, obviously not now, but if I weren't pregnant and trying to lose weight, oh yeah, and that's not really happening now either.
