Jan 22, 2009: Cantilevered Bridge
This is about the strangest bridge I could imagine. Actually I wouldn't have imagined it, or even believed it before I saw the pictures.
 It's pretty simple and really rather ingenious, using a minimum of materials and minimum footprint on valuable land.  This bridge is in Leeuwarden, Netherlands... it looks like something York would build for his daughter.  Link
