The officials of the Municipality of Gland, Switzerland, felt traffic cones are a safety necessity.
But they are kind of ugly, kind of boring, and kind of ignored, so they hired Christophe Machet to do better.

Cuteness aside, around here traffic cones are often used to denote temporary lanes in some very narrow areas. The sheep-shapes would take up too much space.
