We went kayaking today. Amanda, my sister Heather and her daughter, Spirt, husband Pat, and myself.

Just a 3 hour trip, and slow water, but I had a really nice time. It wasn't crazy hot out... The river was a little crowded.... But a good day. Finished the day a Victory Brewing. Good food, great beer, terrible service. It was his first day.... Yeah sure....

It looks really nice. Big turtle day on the Susquehanna for us. Enjoy the boat time.

The painter called today. Everything except the tank is ready to go. The tank will be ready Tuesday. He wants to let that dry a couple more days and then affix the decals and clear over it. I'll pick the finished parts up at 0800 tomorrow!

Now I can start putting it back together! So of course it's 97° and humid as balls.

I spent the afternoon with the Harley

Reassembled the rear fender and lights.

Installed said fender

Put the inner fairing cap on just to see it. Looks weird, but with the tank on, I think it will work.

Checking it out with the seat on

The front fender was much easier to install.

It's a really weird color. It changes with the lighting. The first pic of the fender is how it really looks in person, but when you shine a light on it, it gets brighter. Reminds me of a shark

It looks like the accent color on my softtail mtn bike, white with that blue on the chain stays and decals.

Yes it does. The actual color is a Nissan under hood color for the 2005 Altima. Didn't have a name, just B16 or something

Is that how you picked it out, popping the hood on a trade-in?

actually, no. I took the backrest to the painter. They have books and books of paint chips that have holes punched through them. I laid the chip over the blue part of the leather and it was damn close. Just a coincidence that it was in the Nissan section of the book. I must have gone through 5 books before I found that color without metal flake in it.
