Help for fleas on baby kitties??

I have a litter of kittens that just opened their eyes a week ago. I don't think they're even quite a month old yet. All four have a lot of white on them and I can see a lot of fleas on all of them. PLEASE! Any suggestions on how to help them at this young age! Thanks!!
So far what I have done, and I just tried this about 12 hrs ago....I changed all of their bedding where they sleep with and nurse from mama. Before I put them back in their little place, I got a couple of flea combs and combed the babies and got out all of the fleas that I possible could. Between combing strokes, I dipped the flea comb into a bowl of water with a little dish soap in it. I saw quite a lot of dead fleas in the water, but I am certain it was not 100% successful. These babies have to be miserable. Please send any feedback...rumors....your bright ideas....grandma's old home remedy...whatever you think is worth trying!
Please and thank you........
