You know...you laugh at this but my parents (devout Catholics) swear by this. I personally think it's a crock. The last home they were in they put on the market and it sat for months without even a nibble (Wickenburg is not the real estate hot bed Phoenix is). They buried one of these statues in their front yard in hopes that it would generate some sales. A week later, the house across the street sold. Hmmmm. Vindicated that I was right and my parents were fools, I rolled in on them with the intent that I would reveal how silly this idea was. When I started my barrage of questions, my dad reveals that they had the statues backwards and it was facing across the street, and that they had promptly turned it around. A few days later, thier house sold for full asking price. Egad! It didn't help my argument any. And this wasn't the first time they tried this. They did the same thing with their house in Scottsdale a few years before this.

Voodoo is alive and well.

St. Anthony is just as good at finding lost things as Joe is for selling houses.

And you don't have to be Catholic for it to work. They are equal opportunity saints.

The St. Joe Real Estate Sale spell was in a book of Wiccan Spellcraft that I bought 10 or so years ago. I do not know what it was doing in a book of Wiccan Spells.
