Be Careful What You Wish For...

Spoke to another Dwellar tonight.
I should be really happy.
But just heard some realities from behind the facade and felt not only sympathy, but that just by calling from "this world" [the Cellar], I really wasn't helping.

The call ended happily because I was talking to a good person who didn't want to pass on any issues.

But my days of "cold calling" (even when I've been given numbers) are over. By all means give me a number and say "Call this week!"
If it's possible I will. Any numbers I've had for a month or more I'll discard.

Oh, except the usual suspects!
Being portentous and all that, I forgot there are at least three Dwellars I am in peripatetic contact with. But you know who you are.

Anyway, like Tony sez - I love you all.
Suspending my desire to talk to you does not lessen the actual desire.
It just acknowledges that a call out of the blue is rarely at the right time.

And I'm usually available to talk - on GMT time! And my home number is only a PM away.

What's crushing these days?
In my days it was dirty great big stones.
They laid them on us witches til we either confessed (and then they burned us) or died.

Wait. What?
I might have said something I didn't mean to, back there somewhere.

It's a really beautiful day out there. Sunny, crisp, not too hot, light breeze. I'd be happy if the rest of the summer was like today, with a couple rainy days now and then to keep things green.

You liked them? Or you just acted like you liked them?

*scratching my head* Not sure what happened from reading your post, but it makes me rather sad. And....I didn't realize you actually do make phone calls to other Dwellars. I thought Monster was joking when she told me to give you my digits so I can hear you say the correct pronunciation of certain words. Why don't you use yahoo messenger or skype or such programs to talk to oversea Dwellars? Wouldn't cost a single dime to voice chat at all. I would love to give you my number, but since my schedule is so tight I wouldn't know when to ask you to call me. If you do have a messenger program, I would love to catch you on there sometimes. By the way, what would our time difference be?

Talked to another Dwellar tonight.
They might share the experience, but until they do I'll be private.
Except to say they are super cool potatoes.

And it's a Dwellar with babbas and they are also SCP too.

Lola feel free to give me your number. I do really call Dwellars
I can give you the right was to say any number of things, from twat to schedule!

I have Skype, but the 'rents phone package gives free evening and weekend calls anyway. I did not think this included overseas, but Mum says it does, so I'm happy to go at it. If it turns out not to, it's her fault after all (heh heh heh) by which I mean I'll add it to the amount I owe them and am paying back in installments - mostly the Diz cat's extraordinary vet bill.....

Oh and the bottom line is, Skype (which I have) or telephone, I can't make or receive calls after 22.00 GMT. Which is 17.00 where tonight's Dwellar lives. Right now that limits me far more than cost.

I'm only on here now because it's the last night before the 'rents are back, and I snoozed this afternoon so I could make the most of it. I expected to be in bed two hours ago, but am now waiting for Diz, who is also making the most of the relaxed rules and seeing a post-midnight world.
