GREATEST VIDEO EVER

By now, everyone's familiar with the <a href="http://www.rathergood.com">rathergood.com kitten animations.</a>

I figured it would be hard to top <a href="http://www.rathergood.com/gaybar/">Flying Viking Kittens that want to take you to a gay bar.</a>

<a href="http://www.gaybetamax.co.uk/flash2.html">Someone did.</a>

This is basically a photoblog site. Great flower and graffiti pics. Check out the comics too.

This is an interesting read on the recent research that's gone into synesthesia.

Buck Rogers Radio Program

A 'blast from the past', it's fun to listen to 12 episodes from 1932. Although episode 1 seemed to have a lot of flashbacks to what might have been earlier episodes.

It's a lot of fun to listen to the pseudo-scientific jargon and the clumsy attempts to provide commentary to the audience. Compared to the polish of today's programming, the almost childish simplicity of the script and acting are quaint. I really like the 'gyrocosmic relitivator'. Of course, I did hear 'photoelectric cells', which I'm not sure were science fact in the 1930's.

Of course, you have to be prepared for the racial stereotypes of that era which weren't very quaint. The character of 'Black Barney' is way on the wrong side of politically correct.
