Is it too late to get in? I always suck at this game, but I feel like Aretha Franklin and Michael Douglas are solid bets this year.

No not too late, cf, but you can't pick people who already died or lost limbs. Well I guess you can pick her, buy you get one less point 'cause the leg's already gone, I reckon Hell, I don't care, the more the merrier

Betty White's going to keep on forever I reckon. Unless someone shoots her. /palinmoment

@ pete, funny, but what's the betting it's being pickled and will eventually find it's way onto ebay or the morbid nasty equivalent?

Yeah, prolly.

In one of Asimov's Hugo Winner books, he tells this story. Unfortunately I don't remember the SF author's name.

Some fan to author: Your stories can be depressing. Are you like that in real life?

SF author: On the contrary. I have the heart of a little boy...

I remember that as being Robert Bloch, who wrote Psycho.

I just came back to check if I had Mandela (hospitalized) and noticed that I said this year the score is 111-age, so Sundae must've got 2 or 3 points for the leg. Birthday next week, though.....
