Snow in Dixie

Snowing since around day light here in the heart of dixie. Ground is wet, so if temp doesn't drop much more might not be too bad. Now 34º. Around 25º tonite.
Damn I need to make a beer run.

Yeah? Wel it is RAINING in ADELAIDE! Like actual steady soaking in to the ground RAIN. Best we've had in at least six months.

Raining here too. In the last six hours the creek behind my house has gone from about 85 cubic feet per second, to about 2100 cubic feet per second.

That's impressive. Not the amount of water. How do you know those numbers?

It's snowing in the valley. It's not as warm as dixie but it is a rare welcome sight!

I grew up in Florida, then after graduating college found my first "real" job in Cheyenne, Wyo. Major adjustment --- the first snow of the season up there is late September.

Always fun watching tough he-man Southerners panic at the sign of a few flurries.

@ZenGum: I was under the impression that the easiest way to cause rain in Adelaide was to run a Formula 1 race there. When will they be on the grid?
