Speakeasy DSL
If you're not happy with your current provider, I highly recommend them. They're pretty consistently ranked at the top for customer service, and I can tell you why.
We ordered DSL on Monday. They shipped our DSL modem on Tuesday, and got their stuff configured on their end so that once the circuit was complete, we'd be ready to go. The DSL modem arrives on Thursday. They say the DSL will be up on Friday. I hooked everything up Thursday, so when I got home on Friday, I could just turn on the DSL modem. I did and - voila - DSL. So here I am, finally being able to post from home. Speakeasy are the fuckin' men. The speeds I'm getting are good, the price includes two static IP's and four email addresses... and they actually give a shit about customer satisfaction (unlike Verizon). If you gotta get DSL, I'd check with Speakeasy first. |

Speakeasy is what I've got, and it's premium service.
However, it does come with premium prices. I'm paying $100 including taxes and tags for 1.5/384 (soon to be 1.5/768 at the same price, if the info they sent me is correct). |

I'm paying $80/month for 1.5/768, 2 static IPs, 4 email addresses, etc. I've worked with Speakeasy before (they ran some servers for a league I started) and they've always done well by me.
I've got a few friends on them as well, and they've always played them up as the best. So switching from Verizon (which got disconnected a month ago because they're fucking retards) to Speakeasy is like eating rotten meat every day and then switching to fat and juicy steak. Been using it all weekend and can't complain. The real test will come with Q3 and gaming (pings, man, pings!), but I'll know that soon enough (I don't have any of my desktops set up yet, just the laptops). |
